This small C. XV Convent of the Sisters Karthuizerinnen , with its superb location in very heart of Bruges on one of the most picturesque canals of this city, has been converted to a wonderful boutique hotel, furnished with exclusive fabrics, antiques and objets d'art, all brought together by the lady of the house, who is an antiques dealer and interior designer.

All of the 20 graciously proportioned bedrooms have been individually decorated with antiques and offer all the modern comfort that the discerning traveller expects (direct dial telephone with modem/fax-connection, mini-bar, remote control television with most European channels, DVD-player, CD-player, WIFI, double glazed windows clock-radio, safe, air-conditioning, luxury bathrooms, hairdryer, magnifying mirror, trousers' press, bathrobes and Annick Goutal toiletteries).

The oak panelled breakfast room along the canal is a most enjoyable place to unwind.
In the morning a delicious buffet breakfast with Champagne is served and eggs are prepared according to the guests' wishes. In 2003, the Orangerie-breakfast was elected of the best breakfast in Belgium by one of the leading tour-operators.
